SUPPORT CONTRIBUTION: We wanted the best facility in Medford that can best support our needs. The Rogue Valley Country Club fit our criteria. Giving condersation to the economy and other factors as we are planning this years event, it was decided to charge a price less than our cost. Do we deficit spend? Not exactly. There are funds left over from the 40th Class reunion to use. However our final expenses are always unknown. One expense we incure, as in the past, is that we offer to pay for any classmate who needs assistance to attend. This year it appears we should have enough money to cover our costs. But that is not certain.
Extra funds are held in an account until the next group event. That is because every event begins with expenses before any money is received. Deposits, for example, are requred for necessary reservations. It is always problematic for us. Beyond reimbursement no committee member has ever earned any money from this endeavor. Plus your committee is not treated any perks as other organizations normally do. If you would like to participate and are able to provide extra financial support for use only in classmate reunions consider assisting as members of the committee and others have done. Thanks for your help and support!
